Flatworm kan multiply sexually and asexually.The ability to multiply asexually has greatly enhanced the success of the flatworms, especially for the parasitic groups.Thus one fluke egg can give rise to one million infective larvae.The role of the nervous sytem for the asexual multiplication is unknown and will be studied in this project.
