A multidisciplinary project (geology, organic chemistry, biology).The aim is to study the relationship between geology, water chemistry and the reproduction of fish in a stream in the Qark area (Petalax å) receiving appraciable amounts of humic substances, heavy metals and acidifying compounds from geological sources.
