Edward Westermarck and Hilma Granqvist are compared in respect to methods they used and results they got in Marocko/Palestina.Granqvist was influenced by the functionalists while Westermarck hold to the comparative method of the evolutionists.The association of sociologists, The Westermarck society met two periods of severe crises, namely after the second word war, in the beginning of its existence and in the 1960s and 1970s during the heydays of the student movement
