Nordic Network of Folklore promotes folkloristic research in the Nordic countries by initiating research projects, by coordinating and developing contacs between different Nordic folkloristic milieus, and by providing information about Nordic folkloristics in the Nordic countries as well as internationally.The network publishes its own newsletter and a series of research reports.NNF especially seeks to involve Ph.D. students in its research activities.
