The report views and discusses the rights of inmates, how the rights are supervised and realized, and how patients, clients, and inmates can improve their own conditions.The basis of the research are human and ethical aspects of the Finnish Constitution and the international conventions ratified by Finland.A working-team appointed by Suomen Mielenterveysseura (the Finnish Mental Health Society) participated in the research.
