LANGUAGE: SPA ABSTRACT: The supplement starts with the introduction of the Mexican antropologist Hector Diaz Polanco, who is specialized in the indian culture. He analyses the theories of the indigenous, ethnicists, forth-worldists, who tend to this racial secration. Polanco wants to reject the clasical analysis and find a new Latin American one, based on the actual reality, where it is not possible to make difference between the indigenous, the campesinos, the workers and society in general. He thinks it is necessary to form a new concept of the indigenous movement of Latin America, and that the celebration of the 500 years serves well to recuperate the own identity. The other articles of the supplement take separately the indigenous movements of the different countries in Central America. Raul Marin tells about the genocide of the indigenous people in Guatemala committed by the governments in the name of the counterinsurgency, and about how the indigenous people of El Salvador consider, that the war has been going on for 500 years already. Allan Fajardo explains how the situation of the misquitos of Honduras and Nicaragua changed by the Reagan's low intensity conflict doctrine, a border was founded between the same people, and the ethnic problems were involved in the Central American conflict. The supplement is completed with articles about the situation of the indigenous people in Costa Rica and Panama. INDEX WORDS:
