BIBLIOGRAPHIC LEVEL: part of a serial Avaruusajan kansainvälinen oikeus / Broms, Bengt REFERENCE TO GENERIC UNIT (Periodica): Defensor legis : No. 52., p. 1-9. - Helsinki : Suomen asianajajaliiton äänenkannattaja = Organ för Finlands advokatförbund (D), 1971. - ISSN 0356-262x LANGUAGE: FIN ABSTRACT: Kirjoittaja lähtee siitä, että kansainvälisen oikeuden tutkijat ovat kuluvan vuosisadan aikana joutuneet ottamaan kantaa moniin oikeudellisiin ongelmiin, joiden olemassaoloa ei aikaisemmin edes voitu kuvitellakaan.Yhtenä esimerkkinä voisi mainita avaruusongelmat.Kansainvälisen oikeuden kannalta merkittävistä ulkoavaruuden rauhanomaisen käytön turvaamiseen voidaan erityisesti mainita v. 1966 YK:n yleiskokouksen toimesta laadittu ulkoavaruuden rauhanomaista käyttöä ja tutkimista sääntelevä sopimus, jossa todetaan kaikilla valtioilla olevan oikeus avaruuden tutkimukseen ja hyväksikäyttämiseen.Artikkelissa selostetaan tämän sopimuksen lisäksi myös oikeutta mannermaajalustaan, jota koskeva monenkeskinen valtiosopimus hyväksyttiin Genevessä v. 1960. The author states that during this century scholars of international law have had to deal with a lot of legal problems which before were not even imaginable. One of these is the problem concerning space. An important convention of the peaceful use of outer space is the 1966 UN Convention on Peaceful Use of Outer Space where it is stated that all nations have the right to space research and exploitation. The article also discusses the right to the continental shelf.
